Bed & Breakfasts
As B&B consultants, we know that not all bed and breakfasts are good investments. It’s a labor intensive business in a market that can be tough to make money. But the bed and breakfast industry offers a tremendous lifestyle opportunity and for the right businessman(woman) can be both enjoyable and profitable. The determining factors are the property, the market and the business acumen of the operators. When well-matched, a bed and breakfast can be a dream come true.
Our goal is to identify and buy properties that have significant upside and flip them. We want properties that we can buy for x and in 24 months we can turnaround and sell for x plus $200-500,000. That’s exactly what we did with the property featured below. We bought it in 2020 with a $40,000 investment and sold our stake in 2021 for $350,000.
They are other properties out there just like this one. You just have to know which ones to buy, how to negotiate a good deal, what it takes to operate them and what makes them profitable. We are confident we can do that. Our experience as innkeepers and consultants backs that up.

Motels and Resorts
Motels and resorts represent a unique opportunity in the lodging marketplace. What makes these two segments appealing are their size, their potential location and the opportunity to bring new design concepts and business concepts to an established business.
Many of these properties have been family owned and operated for years. Because of that, many still look and operate like a property from 20, 30 or 40 years ago. The decor may not have changed.
